Which HughesNet modem network should I use?

The HughesNet satellite Internet modem allows you to choose from two different networks: a 2.4 GHz connection and a 5 GHz connection. The 2.4 GHz option is best for long-range connectivity, and can cover longer distances and provide better connectivity when traveling through walls and other solid objects. Whereas the 5 GHz network doesn’t have the range of the 2.4 GHz network, but provides users with faster connection speeds and a stronger wireless signal.
